A truly Classic antique Chinese two person bench with great patina and simple design. Highlighted by two simple expertly carved decorations, this entirely handmade elm bench exhibits its 150 years of use during the Qing Dynasty, the Republic Period and after. Exemplifying it’s 19th Century craftsmanship, no nails were used in the construction of this sturdy piece. A remarkably useful and practical piece, it can be easily used to remove shoes in a narrow entryway, or to add warmth and history to a living room or library.
