Contemporary Design
Italian designer Antonio Aricò debuted One & a Half Bench as part of his Back Home collection in 2012 at Ventura Lambrate during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. His intention was to create pieces with a retro and powerful feel, following his philosophy based on two simple words: work and fun. The collection was thought up, prepared, and nurtured in the south of Italy in a small, traditional atelier with Antonio’s Nonno (grandfather), Saverio Zaminga, a retired carpenter still in love with wood and shapes.
