In Antonio Aricò’s world, objects are often imbued with hidden characters and personalities. For Swing Chair, the Italian designer took inspiration from the story of Pinocchio and, like Geppetto, lovingly gave life to an object made of wood. The Swing Chair brings a joyful experience—that feeling of being outdoors rocking and swinging through the air—indoors. When used inside, the Swing Chair becomes a life-size puppet – a living marionette – with its own presence and character.
