A rare pair of late 18th century Chinese Huang Huali armchairs with yoke backs terminating in scrolls and supported by splats and columns, centered around a traditional paneled seat with cabriole legs carved with dragons at the knee and terminating in ball and claw feet. Throughout the fine carving is a fusion of English and Chinese motifs.
