This unusual early 20th-century chair can be raised or lowered with just a turn of the seat. A chair in two parts, the slatted seat and high back are connected to the square base by a threaded iron rod and changes in height as its turned. Turned wood elements add subtle decoration and a dark brown finish accentuates the chair’s curious form.
