A Chinese Late Qing Dynasty period dark stool from the early 20th century with carved apron and lower shelf. Created in China during the late Qing Dynasty period in the early years of the 20th century, this stool would also be wonderful used as a drinks table. The piece features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above an elegant apron carved with auspicious scrolling clouds surrounding a discreet central flower. The same décor adorns the four sides, the table / stool will therefore be able to float in a room and be seen from all angles. The ensemble is raised on four straight legs securing a shelf in the lower section. We review all of our pieces and address issues we may find before they leave for your home; however, this is an antique piece, and as such it will keep its character and some imperfections, which is the quintessence of antique and vintage furniture. Boasting a dark patina, this Chinese late Qing Dynasty period stool circa 1900 will make for a charming addition to any home, placed in a living room, bedroom, kitchen or hallway!.
