Crafted of a beautiful dense hardwood, this petite table from the late 19th century is designed for displaying precious objects, such as fine porcelain, sculptures, or incense burners. The pedestal has a rectangular floating panel top and stands on four delicate corner legs ending in ball feet and linked with humpback stretchers. The aprons are simply carved in relief and outlined with a sinuous beaded edge.
