The carcass (probably 18th century), the fancy veneers probably same. The top cross and feather banded. Warm color and excellent patina. Photos taken in different light, full shade and full sun depending on buyers use and placement. Sturdy.
Age crack to the top and to one side (filled). Typical age and use scratches and staining throughout. Veneer cracks, separations ,losses and subsequent infills. Dents, dings and minor losses to bun feet and the chest overall. No keys. Very faint outline of earlier hardware on drawer fronts, lost in the busy graining. One end with older refinish or re-veneered .
