18th Century New England Queen Anne Cherry Lowboy
American cherry Lowboy with elegant scalloped apron from the Queen Anne period, about 1760. The top has a molded edge above three drawers. The center drawer is flanked by two deep drawers. The beautiful shaped brass pulls appear to be original. The cabriole
legs end in pad feet. The Lowboy retains the original surface and 200 + years of age show general wear and some blemish and stains. However, it has developed a beautiful warm patina. Construction is solid and sturdy. One minor molding piece underneath the frame is missing. (pic)
