American Queen Anne period walnut sidechair from a Boston cabinetmaker. This elegant chair is distinguished by its cabriole legs, pad feet and vase form splat. The block and turned cross stretcher provides extra strength while the shaped skirt adds grace. The slip seat has old (but not original) floral needlepoint upholstery. There are slight imperfections to the needlepoint, first half of the 18th century.
