Dramatically grained and warmly colored, gorgeous peach wood stars in this streamlined kang table. Seamlessly constructed by a gifted 19th-century craftsman, the table was meticulously crafted without nails, screws or glue, featuring a floating top and gently tapered legs ending in horse-hoof feet. With its low stature and portability, the low table was often placed on a daybed or kang platforms to provide a convenient surface for playing board games or enjoying tea.
