English Queen Anne walnut side chair with cabriole legs, pad front feet, turned stretcher connecting back legs, and slip seat. This elegant chair has a graceful curved tall back with handsome central solid walnut shaped splat. The timber was carefully chosen for the splat with the heartwood centered perfectly. The skirt is gracefully shaped on the front as well as the sides. This chair comes from the Estate of Thomas and Jeannette Hackett, long time antique dealers and collectors. It was purchased by them in England in the early 1970’s.
