English Queen Anne oak lowboy, the top has”breadboard” ends around the front perimeter followed by a band of mahogany. Note in the photos of the top, there are two minor shrinkage separations running parallel to each other which is quite common and typical in period oak furniture. The drawer retains it original etched brass pulls and escutcheon and is cross banded with mahogany, secondary wood is oak. The front legs feature a ”lamb’s tongue” at the top and terminate with a pad foot; straight back legs and nicely shaped apron.
