Italian modern Abate floor lamp by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Ibis, 1970s. Abate model floor lamp, consisting of a hemispherical base in gray marble from which the central black metal stem extends up to the white fabric diffuser, applied on a rigid transparent curved support. The lampshade is made up of two curved parts, one of which is shorter which is housed inside, almost surrounded by the larger part, placed outside, which is adjustable and can be opened as desired and allows you to completely modify the overall lighting effect , as well as the same size as the speaker. Very rare and important piece of design from around 1970, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for Ibis, of which it still retains the original label. Good general condition, scattered marks on the fabric of the speaker. Measurements in cm 35d x 175h.
