Vintage Design
The design has a square chrome steel base that could be fixed to the ceiling or a wall. The base holds a cubical milk glass shade by three screws. These three screws in the main steel head enable the easy removable of the glass shade, making access for changing the light bulb very straightforward. The square forms of the base and the shade gives the piece certain expressive and dynamic form. The steel base is almost “hiding” and therefore makes the white glass looks like it floats effortlessly below the ceiling.
This Modernist ceiling lamp has a patina on the steel surface that actually give the piece it’s unique charm and character. The lamp in general is in very good vintage condition with no damage on the glass. There are no dents; only slight signs of minimal natural wear and tear on the steel parts.
