Circa 1710 large Queen Anne Giltwood mirror, shaped rectangular split plate in a leaf-carved moulded frame and scrolled leaf-carved cresting with inset griffin, flanked by finials. There are areas of gesso and gilt loss throughout, which only adds to the incredible charm of this beautifully rare mirror.
The mirror plates are wonderfully foxed, back boards have likely been historically replaced. A truly exceptional decorators interior design mirror that radiates with both history and quality.
