A nicely carved Queen Anne mahogany & parcel gilt mirrored wall sconce with two adjustable brass candle arms at the base. Featuring a crest with foliate carved gilded shell and carved mahogany frame with carved gilt inset. This mirrored sconce dates to circa 1740 in good overall condition – the original mirror glass shows some flaking and cloudiness from use over time, and the carved frame ears show some shrinkage cracks and early expected repairs.
