Behold the beauty of this minimalist teak ladder-back rocking chair, a true gem from the mid-century era, echoing the artistic vibes of design legends Paulo Buffo and Hans Wegner.

Distinguished by its sleek design and eight slats, this handmade chair evokes the simple and beautiful shapes of Shaker rockers. Its barely legible maker’s mark hints at its origins, possibly Italian or Scandinavian, and dates probably between 1940 and 1965.

The rush seat is in perfect condition.

While one rubber tread on one of the runner rails has gone missing, the integrity of the chair is perfect. It does not wobble and is not uneven. The difference between the two runner rails is not noticeable and does not affect the height.
