Vintage Design
Crafted in solid teak, this iconic 1955 floor lamp by Pierre Jeanneret features two dome-shaped lights in embossed aluminum, lacquered in black and red. The tapered central axis intersects with a horizontal arm supporting the lights at each end, directed oppositely. It stands on a square base with two slats as legs and includes a small off-center rectangular teak table. Originating from Chandigarh, these lamps were made from wood sourced during the city’s construction, embodying early ecological considerations. Provenance and certificates are available.
