An extraordinary full set of 16 Queen Ann Style dining chairs. With two arm and ten side chairs. Finely crafted in figured wood with classic Queen Ann style scrolled supports, shaped splats, and shaped seat frames. With shepherd’s crook arms on two chairs. The cabriole front legs with carved palmettes on the knees and stylized paw feet, and square splayed back legs. The seats upholstered in a cut teal blue on cream small print fabric.
Side chairs measure: H. 39 1/2″, W. seat 20″, Depth 19″, seat H. 21″ (These dimensions shown below also).
Arm chairs Measure: H. 39.5”, W (At arms) 23”, Depth 19.5”, seat height 21”, Arm height 28.25”
Condition: The overall condition is very good some age related chips and slight dings along the splat joinery, scrapes on two crests and one left support, stable age cracks on a few seat frames and some visible lines at some joinery. (Please see detail photos) all mentioned for accuracy as the set displays exceptionally well.
