Description

Beautiful Armenian Dancing Gazelles round decorative bowl designed by Marie Balian from her Jerusalem studio. This bowl features 5 white dancing gazelles, an Arab symbol of feminine beauty, amid red, yellow and green flowers and against a backdrop of cobalt blue. This large, shallow bowl measures 11.5” in diameter and 2.25” deep. No chips or cracks, but it is at least 30 years old and there is crazing in the glaze, so it would be best suited for decorative purposes on a coffee or console table or wall.
